Everyone is watching, so?

//Everyone is watching you. They are watching what you wear, what you eat, how you eat, how you walk, how you talk, how you behave…..generally speaking, your every move. So?

I have always been really self-conscious about myself from the outside to the inside. Especially when I am meeting new people or simple just going out by myself.

I can feel everyone judging me from what I chose to wear, the way I talk and even right now, the way I am typing this post. I think is that lack of self-confidence that humans tend to have.

“If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”

– Vincent Van Gogh

I believe that actually everyone has this human flaw in them.  Research do show that confidence is actually not something that you are born with, but it is a skill that can be practiced.

Even though I am still self-conscious and probably my self-confidence is not high up or to standards, but compared with the past, I am waaaaaaaay better. To me, that matters a lot already, because it has improve my life in various ways.

Here are some recommendation reading to work that confidence muscle:

Taking control of your self-confidence

– “Behaviour first, then attitude”

“Self-confidence without competence is of as little use as is competence without self-confidence.”

On the plus side, confidence is so sexy. (Just saying :P)

So this is to remind myself and to you that, everyone is watching, but so what? Maybe its time to show what you got and be that awesome person you naturally are.
